Drylok Bag

Advantek DRYLOK Static Shielding/Moisture Barrier Bags are engineered to protect contents from electro-static discharge and moisture during transport, storage and handling. DRYLOK is available in a range of materials, thicknesses and barrier performance levels.

Advantek‘s STATLOK 1100 Static Shielding Bag is ideal for contents needing protection from static but not from moisture. Its durable construction safeguards static-sensitive devices during transport and storage. STATLOK 1100 bags are available in several standard sizes designed to contain matrix trays, tubes and 13″ shipping reels. Need other sizes? We can make custom bags to fit the needs of nearly any project.

Carrier Tape

Embossed carrier tape provides protection to integrated circuits and other devices from physical and electro-static discharge (ESD) damage during shipping and storage. Carrier tape is widely used for presenting devices to pick-and-place machines for automatic placement onto printed circuit boards. Advantek's carrier tape can incorporate containment features found in more expensive shipping media. This provides fragile devices - such as QFP's, chip scale packages and bare die - protection from physical damage.

Cover Tape

Cover tape is sealed to the carrier tape to hold the devices in the pockets. Advantek offers a full range of cover tapes to meet various requirements.

Heat Activated Cover Tape

Advantek offers several types of universal heat-activated cover tape. Each type of tape offers a different set of features and advantages which were developed to meet market requirements. Select the tape that has the best alignment with your application.

HUB, HUC, HUE, HUF, ABx

Pressure Sensitive Cover Tape

Advantek has pressure sensitive cover tapes for polystyrene and polycarbonate carrier tape material. These re-sealable, high-transparency pressure sensitive cover tapes are perfect for both small trial runs and high volume packaging.

Packaging Reels

To prevent mechanical & ESD damage to devices during shipping and storage, loaded carrier tape is typically wound onto a plastic take-up reel.

Lokreel MINI RJ SEries

dvantek’s LOKREEL Mini RJ Component packaging reels provide excellent protection when shipping small components packaged in carrier tape, such as bare die and small integrated circuit packages. It‘s made from general-purpose and high-impact polystyrene for added strength and durability. The 7” LOKREEL Mini RJ reels are available in a variety of widths.

Advantek’s patented LOKREEL® Pro component packaging reels are ideal for shipment and storage of any component packaged in carrier tape. The robust LOKREEL® Pro high-impact injection molded polystyrene construction with small window size offers exceptional protection to devices. LOKREEL® Pros are sold and shipped disassembled in halves to minimize shipping cost and provide compact storage.

Advantek’s LOKREEL® Lite plastic injection-molded packaging reels are an exceptional choice where price is a key concern. LOKREEL® Lite reels are designed to achieve a combination of structural integrity, lower weight and lower cost than the premium reels. The LOKREEL® Lite is built with the same durable hub structure as the premium LOKREEL® Pro and the high-impact molded polystyrene offers exceptional protections to devices.

Desiccant

Advantek‘s Desiccants are drying agents used to protect moisture-sensitive devices by absorbing airborne moisture, which may become present inside a moisture barrier bag after vacuum packaging. Advantek‘s Desiccant remains dry to the touch even when saturated with moisture vapor.

Protective Band

Bands provide additional protection for components packed in carrier tape and wound on a reel. PROBAND™ is slightly wider than the carrier tape and protects the components by fully covering the carrier tape on the reel.
